A Nod To Your Target Audience

My client Jon had recently formed a new business, Rebound Performance, that offers physical therapy, consulting, and programming services. His goal was to see athletes of all levels but did have a history and expertise working with basketball players. He asked if we could incorporate something related to basketball in his logo in a way that wouldn’t push other athletes away from his business. 

The Design Process

When creating the brand for Rebound, I wanted to create something modern and clean that had a nod to basketball without throwing it in your face. With his submark, I used the lines in a basketball to create a subtle icon that could be utilized alone as well as with his primary and secondary logo. Through imagery and website copy, we made it clear that Jon’s time working in the NBA helps him to specialize with basketball athletes but he is happy to work with athletes of all levels and all sports.
